I am a clinical psychologist in Shippan Point, Stamford, Connecticut. I have years of experience treating a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, self-image issues and marital discord. I am a humanistic psychologist and the author of two books on communication: Are You Really Listening (with a forward by Joan Lunden) and We Really Need to Talk (with an endorsement by Archbishop Desmond Tutu). I have also written Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired: Living with Invisible Chronic Illness. I am an executive coach with clients from the financial industry and the non-profit and education worlds. In the first session I listen intently to the client and then tailor therapy/coaching to the individual's needs. My specialties and expertise include: anxiety, depression, addiction, marital problems, stress and communications difficulties at home, at work and at school. If the client is listened to with respect, affirmation and profound understanding, I believe that the client will feel free then to address the issues that are causing stress and difficult emotions.
