About

Dr. Beljan's professional focus is on Attention and Executive Functioning, Gifted Intelligence, Learning Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Alcohol/Drug Related Neurodevelopmental Deficit (A/DRND). Beljan Psychological Services (BPS) administers pediatric and adult neuropsychological evaluations to accurately determine diagnoses and direct interventions. Dr. Beljan co-wrote Misdiagnosis and Dual Diagnoses of Gifted Children and Adults. Dr. Beljan also co-wrote Large Scale Brain Systems and Neuropsychological Tests: An Effort to Move Forward, which will be published in October 2015. BPS offers numerous forms of child psychotherapy, behavioral management/therapy, neurocognitive interventions, reading interventions, and parent assistance in a friendly and caring environment. Our multi-modal approach is designed to help parents understand their child's way of being, by understanding brain function, to help reduce challenging behaviors.

Dr. Paul Beljan is the past president of the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology and is a diplomate with American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABN [adult qualification]). In 2015, Dr. Beljan completed a Post Doctoral Master's Degree in Psychopharmacology. Dr. Beljan also completed Post-Doctoral Residencies in Pediatric Neuropsychology and Pediatric Medical Psychology.
