Grace C Mae Advocate Center is based on our founder's experiences of having a child born with complex medical needs and hidden disabilities. Grace took Dr. Gilbaugh on a journey of self-discovery--which led her to be inspired to help others in their times of need. Our therapists work with people of all ages, and many types of problems. It is our mission to help people find solutions to their unique and diverse problems. We work hard to restore hope, and to find solutions. We approach our work with compassion and no judgement. We have offices in Cedar Rapids, Marengo, Marshalltown, and Washington. We specialized in working with children, adolescents, and their families. Our LISW therapists also work with mature adults and the elderly. We have several marriage and family therapists, as well. In every office, we have a "good fit" for every type of patient. We partner with other professionals also. Our offices have full-time care coordinators to ensure our patients receive the most optimal continuum of care services. We help patients with their insurance questions, filling out FMLA paperwork, making referrals to psychiatry and other professionals, assist with specialized testing, helping with IEP and 504 education plans.
