Are you or a loved one struggling with alcohol, opiates, benzos or other drugs? What about depression and anxiety, insomnia and loss of self-esteem? There is hope and treatment for people struggling and their family members. Together, we will create a plan to address your situation, helping you or a loved one understand the disease of addiction or mental health disorder, develop coping skills, deal with anxiety, anger, and other emotions, build a support network, improve sleep, and assess the need for medications, if warranted. My goal is to help you find a path to a rewarding, fullfilling life. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on improving thinking patterns and behaviors, as well as other healing modalities like yoga and meditation, where helpful, in promoting wellness. Treatment is solution focused to achieve results as quickly as possible. In addition to private practice, I am the VP, Consumer Clinical Content Development for the Partnership to End Addiction, providing resources for families struggling with substance use. For balance, I teach yoga and mindfulness in Morristown.
