About

I have extensive training and experience treating families who encounter transitional issues, behavioral issues, parenting concerns, couples conflict, and adolescents who are in trouble with the law or who have problem sexual behavior. I also work with individuals who experience anxiety and depressive disorders, disruptive behavioral disorders, trauma and post traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss, and reactive attachment disorder.

I use a variety of techniques in therapy, trying to find what will work best for the client, including: Narrartive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Brief-Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) and Life Stress Reduction, (LSR), as well as Structural/Strategic Family Therapy.

I have 25 successful years of working with families, couples, and individuals. That success is due, in part, because I view counseling as a collaborative process between client(s) and therapist. I am client centered and your voice is heard.
