Our mental health doesn't exist in a bubble: we are all deeply impacted by our increasingly turbulent world, including political instability and climate change. This turbulence is exacerbated if we're also struggling with depression, anxiety, developmental trauma, substance use, relationship challenges or life transitions. My approach to therapy meets at the intersection of your inner and outer worlds. Rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis, we will work together to understand the root causes of your symptoms so that we can co-create an actionable path towards healing and living a more meaningful day-to-day life. I invite you to bring your whole self to each session, including all of the values, identities, relationships, environments and systems that impact your life. Our work will weave together an eclectic array of evidence-based techniques, including somatic, cognitive and mindfulness modalities. I am ACT and IFS-informed and currently training in EMDR. I am committed to creating a welcoming and culturally sensitive space, including gender and poly affirming care. I view myself as a partner on your healing journey and bring warmth, compassion, humor and candor to every session. If you feel like we could be a good fit to work together, I encourage you to reach out to schedule a free consultation!
