Welcome. My clients are looking for an experienced therapist who helps them develop goals and suggests "homework" assignments--giving them feedback and practice outside of session. They might feel "stuck" and want relief fast, but are willing to examine how they got here. We focus on strengths, what they've done that is working, and self-care (whole person) as a priority. Relationships are important to them as is learning how to communicate and set boundaries effectively. The family we grew up in can shape us in different ways, which is why I do a family tree with every client I see. Licensed in RI and Massachusetts Telehealth. My practice includes adults who experience trauma, anxiety and/or stress/depression grief and/or life transitions: launching kids, divorce/breakups/loss of loved one, co-dependency issues, parenting and sleep hygiene. EMDR and IFS (mind/body therapy) for help with anxiety, trauma, and phobias, increasing life satisfaction and healthy social supports. Together we'll examine your goals and develop tools and a path to get you there. Therapy can help during life transitions. I'm happy to schedule a free consultation and keep my practice intentionally small so I can focus on YOUR needs. In this sometimes challenging world, I want to be holding the light at the other end of the tunnel to help get you through.
