About

Like a deflating balloon, there are times when we all feel as if the zest for life is slowly drifting away from us. Broken relationships, loneliness, work-related stress, financial issues, physical illness, and traumatic events are but a few of the stressors that can leave us feeling depleted and without the resiliency to bounce back. When these stressors surface, we tend to get stuck in our same old patterns of thinking and behaving. While these patterns are safe and familiar, they do little to facilitate the change that is needed. By utilizing your inner strengths and developing effective coping skills, you can overcome obstacles.

My treatment approaches are rooted in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. Meeting the needs of the client is most important; therefore, an integration of other therapies is used to determine a treatment plan that best fits client’s goals, personality, preferences, needs, spiritual beliefs, receptiveness, and level of motivation.

My counseling style is engaging, empowering, and designed to maximize your potential for a richer and more satisfying life. It would be my privilege to joint you on your journey and offer a safe space to address the issues that are impacting how you are experiencing life. No matter where you are in your journey, your joy can be restored.
