Mrs. Miller is an international expert on child abuse, childhood trauma, attachment, and family violence. Her paper on severe child abuse as torture has been downloaded in 83 countries. She speaks to international audiences on how to treat complex trauma using innovative techniques that have been scientifically proven- including play-based, sensory, and experiential treatment (water, sand, nature), expressive treatments (art, music, animal, and yoga therapy,) and humanist therapy based on compassion for all people.
