About

By creating an open, non-judgmental space for self-reflection, I help individuals gain insight into the past and identify new ways of moving forward. Whether you're going through a major life transition, struggling with relationships, or feel that you are somehow holding yourself back, we'll work together to understand the conflicts underlying your unique story, and to implement significant, achievable change in your life.

I specialize in working with people of diverse backgrounds to overcome anxious and negative thinking, disordered eating, relationship issues, and intrusive or traumatic memories. I also work with students, young professionals and artists who are experiencing creative blocks, or are unsure about how to progress in their lives and careers.

In addition to a master's degree in clinical social work, I hold a PhD in English, with a research focus in the field of trauma studies. My approach as a therapist is empathic and client-centered, incorporating psychodynamic, behavioral, and trauma-informed modalities, such as EMDR, IFS, and mindfulness, to support you in reaching your goals.
