Counseling services focus on helping families and individuals build skills that increase healthy behaviors and foster resiliency. Symptoms and challenges are addressed using a CBT, DBT, Adlerian, and/or a client centered ‘strengths and solutions’ based approach. Emphasis in sessions include gaining awareness of negative self-talk and habits, learning tools to change behaviors, and rewriting new scripts that illuminate strengths, acceptance, and self-discipline. Sand Tray techniques and Play Therapy are additional approaches to help clients process emotions and progress in their goals.
