My ideal clients are those who have experienced stressful, traumatic events and want to take control over their lives again. I love verbal processors, but have no issue with asking questions to facilitate productive conversations. I work best with adolescents and young adults, and want to be someone knowledgeable and professional, yet relatable and open, in order to create a comfortable environment. I love working with those in the LGBTQ+ community and using my lived experience in that identity to foster a genuine connection and make sure your voice is heard. Trauma work is my main interest, but I also work with those with depression, anxiety, identity issues, neurodivergency, intimate partner violence, sexuality, and gender dysphoria. I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, and teach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills for a variety of concerns. My approach to therapy is a laid-back, non-judgmental atmosphere. I want therapy to be a safe place for you to speak freely and not be intimidated! I am very open to learning things and will meet you where you are at. I would love to connect with you for a free 30-minute consultation, where we can get to know each other, and explore how I can help.
