Therapy is an opportunity to further understand yourself on a deeper level and make the changes that are important to your life. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in community mental health, social services, and case management in the medical sector. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a double major in Spanish and Psychology. I obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles with a concentration in Older Adults. My experience ranges from children ages 5 and up through geriatrics and end-of-life issues. Although I use a variety of treatment modalities, depending on individual needs, my primary focus is on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based, and Solution Focused Treatment. I’ve worked with adolescents, life transitions, and parent-child relationship problems. It is my goal as your clinician to help you process, develop mindfulness, insight, and self-growth that will allow you to develop coping strategies and apply them to everyday life experiances.
