I strongly believe that therapy is a collaborative undertaking; its success largely depends on you feeling comfortable sharing with me even those feelings and concerns that are hard to talk about in general. I can offer you the warm, non-judgmental atmosphere that you will need to safely explore your experiences and I can also offer an active, engaged participation in the process of understanding what are the causes of your problems and what would lead to a considerable improvement in your situation. I often treat people who undergo major life transitions: a break-up, a job loss or immigration. I also have extensive experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds who suffer from depression and anxiety; who deal with difficulties around commitment, intimacy or around maintaining a healthy independence within their relationships. I obtained my Ph.D. in Hungary before I moved to the US. After having done clinical work in various institutions, I earned a post-doctoral degree at Adelphi University. Most recently I completed my training in psychoanalysis at the William Alanson White Institute. Please let me know if you have more questions!
