I pursued a career in Psychology, Counseling, and Education to help individuals who are struggling with mental health concerns, addictions, court issues, school problems, and career concerns. Let us start from right where you are, and embark on a journey of healing with this skilled, empathetic, and approachable therapist. Most major insurance are accepted, including Husky and Medicare. There is also a lesser fee for those of you who are paying out of pocket. I have 20 years of therapeutic experience. I have a MA in Psychology with majors in General Psychology & School Psychology. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC); and a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC). I use may therapies, including Client-Centered, CBT, and Motivational Enhancement approaches. I know what it is like to lose one's way. I grew up in perhaps the worst neighborhoods in the Northend of Hartford, and I was embarrassed to let my friends see that I lived in an area of Brooklyn called "Vietnam" when I was going to college. But I have always believed that no one, but us, can prevent us from succeeding if we are destined for success.
