My worldview has been shaped by my parents that immigrated to the United States and focused on hard work to accomplish life goals. From their parenting to my academic career that lead me through the University of Connecticut School of Social Work, I have realized that the world is bigger than the street I live on, so many things that are known or not that lead to our overall well-being.
