About

I practice counseling with the perspective that humans develop behaviors to serve some sort of purpose. As a counselor, I am here to offer guidance and support for when those behaviors are no longer necessary or are no longer serving the purpose that was intended. I strive to assist clients in developing a balance in how they both experience and express emotions, with the belief that there is no "bad" emotion. My goal is to work with clients in discovering a state of awareness of the uncertainty in life rather than a fear of it. View 9 Photos

I have experience working with clients who struggle with mood disorders, role transitions, interpersonal conflict, trauma/PTSD, and substance abuse issues. I have a special interest in working with clients who have ADHD, and OCD and other obsessive-compulsive related disorders. I offer an integrative approach including CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, ERP, and IFS.

I understand that choosing to seek therapy is difficult and even scary, whether it is your first time or if you have been to counseling in the past. I hope to offer a safe environment in which you feel comfortable being open about what life is presenting you. If you are interested, please feel free to contact our office and ask for a new patient appointment.
