I am currently on maternity leave and am not accepting new patients. My approach to counseling is rooted in relational psychoanalytic work and engages people as their whole selves. I attend to your past experiences as well as what is happening in the room. This includes what is coming up in your thoughts, feelings, and body. It also means paying attention to the quality of our connection within our roles as counselor and patient. I approach all my work with an attention to social and cultural context. We can explore who you are and where you come from– your personal circumstances, identities, values and experiences and how you have been impacted throughout your life. I’ve worked with individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. I am LGTBQ affirming and a sex positive therapist. I consider it a privilege to hold space for meaningful change and healing with my patients, and I would love to support you in your process.
