About

Young children and teens struggle with life changes, big emotions, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, trauma, family conflict, and personal stressors just as much as the rest of us. Parents often feel helpless, overwhelmed, and worried about how to help their kids. You are trying to make sure they are happy and develop healthy relationships but it’s hard to know how to do this with everything else that’s going on in life. Everyone, including kids, needs a safe space to work through things. Together we can work toward new perspectives, increased self-compassion, better emotion regulation, and changed behaviors. I am a Registered Play Therapist and use play, art, and sand to support clients who are working through difficult things because play and creativity is how kids communicate, process, and learn the most. I will work with your child one-on-one in a special playroom or together with parents in the playroom to work through emotional and behavioral challenges.

I firmly believe that all children need to feel seen and know how wonderful they are, especially when facing challenges. Let’s work together to understand your child’s needs and help your child and family find happiness, strength, and healing. If you are ready to get your child the emotional support they need, please reach out!
