Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
After many years working within our mental health system, I gradually became disheartened. I questioned the longer-term impact of the work I was doing. So much of our societal focus is on the symptoms of our suffering and I became increasingly curious about the root causes. Throughout my professional journey, I have been exploring different approaches to creating meaningful, lasting change in the lives of those I work with. I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities into a balanced, somatic approach to holistically support individuals so they can heal and grow. Psychedelic medicines offer a potent means through which individuals can access transformational information and transcendent experiences that provide enduring changes in life. For many, these compounds unlock the doorway into the depths of human experience, shining a light on the root sources of present day struggles or difficulties. If you are someone who does not feel like the current medical model is effective for you, psychedelics may be worthwhile to consider. These medicines can be especially effective for those who feel stuck and are in search of a breakthrough. Research indicates that ketamine-assisted psychotherapy can have long-term benefits for those struggling.
