About

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in treating children, adolescents, and young adults. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA. I also hold a master’s and doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and have over 20 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and a variety of other presenting issues. For the past several years, I have served as a Subject Matter Expert for the California Board of Psychology.

I work from a cognitive behavioral theoretical orientation, which is a hands-on, practical approach to therapy. It is all about practice and opening yourself up in order to change the way you think and or act. As a native Spanish speaker, I frequently provide services in Spanish and English and enjoy working with children and families of diverse backgrounds.

Our practice aims to teach concrete skills that can lead to more positive and satisfying lives. We will work with you and or your child/teen step-by-step to address your goals and truly believe that practice makes perfect. Some of our newer areas of interests that we incorporate into our work include promoting a growth mindset and mindfulness training.
