Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I am accepting new telehealth/virtual clients at this time! I enjoy working with teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral health difficulties, as well as problems adjusting to day to day stressors. I also specialize in helping those who are feeling stress related to trauma or relationship conflict or violence, and people experiencing substance abuse disorders. Together, we focus in therapy on building new supports and developing healthier ways of coping. I utilize techniques stemming from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, among other approaches. View 10 Photos I have a very good understanding of teens/adults facing life changes, e.g. entering college, the work force, apprenticeships, relationships, etc.. My approach is to collaboratively create a treatment plan specific to clients’ needs using evidence-based treatment modalities such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, narrative techniques, and A-CRA. I believe the rapport a client has with a therapist is of the utmost importance as we work to promote self-advocacy, self-efficacy, and self-love. As such, I strive to always foster a space of open-mindedness and empathy to help work towards empowerment and healthy relationships.
