About

My journey as a therapist has been deeply rooted in advocacy, support, and empowerment within the LGBTQ+ community and of communities of color. With a commitment to fostering inclusivity and understanding, I have cultivated a practice that prioritizes the voices and experiences of those often marginalized or underserved. I recognize the importance of culturally competent care and the impact of systemic inequalities in mental health. I provide a culturally responsive approach to therapy, addressing issues such as identity, discrimination, intergenerational trauma, and acculturation.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy. I believe in the importance of creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, empathetic, and affirming environment where your unique experiences and perspectives are honored and respected. Together, we will work towards your therapeutic goals, building on your strengths and exploring areas for growth and healing whether you're seeking individual therapy or couples counseling.
