I am a licensed psychologist who has worked with adults and teen for over 25 years. Before engaging in private practice, I was at Stanford Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where I was awarded a fellowship following my clinical internship at University of New Mexico Medical. I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oregon. I have worked with clients in various clinical settings including residential treatment in Montana and Vermont, given national and international talks, facilitated many group therapy sessions and workshops for families, parents, and couples. I love what I do. I work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, relational and marital challenges, and life adjustment. I see teens, adults and parents (no couples therapy at this time). I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other mindfulness- and evidence-based interventions. How do you pick from the endless list of therapists. Many feel nervous about starting therapy or talking to someone new, some feel stuck (even while in therapy), and others are just confused about the acronyms behind various providers' names. Call for a free phone consultation. I'd be glad to connect to discuss the challenges you are facing and your needs.
