Many people who are facing difficulties ask the same question: where do I start? That fear of uncertainty can lead to a lack of confidence along with feelings of anxiety, depression, or self-doubt. I believe that confidence begins with clarity. Hi, my name is Ni Zhang, a bilingual (English/Chinese) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently practicing in the state of Texas, I have extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I love the idea of helping others overcome mental illness and helping them achieve their life goals. I see myself as a compassionate professional that has the privilege to witness clients' growth by meeting them where they are and building a strong therapeutic alliance with them. I am pragmatic in terms of utilizing different evidence-based treatment modalities with the specialty in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Each client is unique and has the inner strength to overcome various life challenges. For every session, I hope my client will feel a little bit better and empowered so that the real change can be made possible outside the session with improved healthy coping skills in their healing journey.
