I see adults and adolescents of any age . I see quite a few couples and families to work through marital or parenting problems. Most of my clients are seeking insight about how to approach their problems in new ways, to acquire new understandings which enable them to see possibilities that may have been elusive to them without the added input of an experienced therapist. I have tried to develop a style that focuses on how to help people develop their capacity to tune in more deeply to their own inner awareness and knowledge, to see options that were previously unseen. As noted above, I don't have a narrow specialty, but prefer to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and addressing many different concerns.I do quite a lot of work with couples, married and unmarried, parents working on problems with their children, and individual adults and teens. I see relationships as crucial to happiness and satisfaction in life. Even if clients have feelings of depression or anxiety, problems at work, etc., insights about how to approach things in new ways in the interpersonal realm are often a key area to help people be happier and more content.
