About
Having worked in community mental health, I have worked with all ages over the years. I have worked with young kids who may struggle to sit and follow instructions, struggle with defiance, or physical aggression. I have worked with teenagers who are trying to learn to be independent, struggling with peer interactions, anger, defiance, or just need a non-judgmental listening ear. I have worked with young adults who are lost about where they go next or are struggling with the new responsibilities of adulthood. I have worked with older adults who are now looking back on life and moving forward with new responsibilities and beyond. I bring the experience of working in a community mental health center and have experience working with all different types of therapies. I prefer a philosophical stance and use evidenced based practices as well, including, but not limited to CBT, person centered, integrative mental health, and existential therapy; and being certified in tech addiction. Sometimes life just isn't going the way you want and you need someone to help you figure that out. Sometimes there are challenges that are hard to accept and you need someone to listen. Life can be difficult and you need a real, non-judgmental ear to listen and someone to walk with you while you figure it out. I am here to be that person if you need it.
