Therapy offers a temporary refuge from the pressures of our day-to-day lives. It's a space for us to better understand ourselves and practice how we want to be in the larger world-especially in a world that actively harms so many of us. We all carry trauma that informs our behaviors, sometimes resulting in anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflict. I work with clients to find what lies at the root of these problems and discover solutions. I take an integrative approach to this, meaning I draw on a variety of different treatment modalities based on your needs. Identity isn't everything, but having shared experiences can be helpful. I am deeply informed by my lived experience being Thai, a child of immigrants, Buddhist, queer, non-binary, and non-monogamous. Other parts of my life that I bring into this work are my love for tabletop roleplaying games, storytelling, and partner dancing. Starting therapy can be a hard step and finding the right therapist can be even harder. If you think we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out and schedule a brief phone or video call.
