You are someone who is self-aware and knows how to tell your story well. Maybe you’ve done traditional talk therapy in the past but are ready to try a different approach. I help those with a tendency to intellectualize reconnect with their emotions and body to support deep and meaningful change. Because of life experiences, we often develop coping mechanisms (responses) that were once adaptive but may no longer serve us in the present. Our work together can help you explore why you think, feel, and behave the way you do, while also inviting in qualities that may be a better fit for you in the here and now. Working with me means your lived experiences are acknowledged, validated, and valued. My practice celebrates those in fat and larger bodies, LGBTQIA+, queer and gender diverse communities, and neurodivergence. I also enjoy working with other mental health professionals and understand the unique challenges of the profession. I am an Internal Family Systems Level One trained therapist and am certified in Brainspotting. I have chosen these modalities because they are both non-pathologizing, effective in addressing trauma, and can help clients move past “stuck” points.
