My approach to working with people in therapy is non-binary and rooted in the belief that humans exist most authentically in a “both/and” place. While seemingly opposite, radical acceptance and working to change are equally essential to the process. I offer non-hierarchical authenticity in healing work. I believe in cultural humility as my way of being and honor individuals by building mutual trust, respect, and understanding. I will walk alongside you as you lead your journey of self-discovery and transformation. Using a trauma informed, DBT-informed approach, sessions include increasing self awareness and radical self acceptance, skill building, and defining who you are and what works best for you. One size fits all is a myth! As a neurodivergent, gender queer, queer person on the planet, my own journey of self-acceptance has been arduous at times. I often remind myself to use an experimental mindset to challenge myself to try new things and adjust what works best for me. I use the tools I teach others daily to continue my own work to radically accept myself and others.
