About

You have begun a journey to healing, balance, growth and well being. We will work together towards setting tangible goals to overcome obstacles that are blocking your ability to find happiness and growth. I have twenty three years of experience working in mental health. My approach is eclectic. I use psychodynamic theories and incorporate principles of psychoanalysis, mindfulness based modalities, Cognitive/Behavioral therapies, Experiential Therapy and most importantly a Relationship Model. I believe change is possible.

I help clients with eating disorders, depression, relationship issues, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, grief and loss, issues of aging in a mature population, and postpartum depression. I help families address behavioral issues that children face as they develop their own identities. I work with couples going through stressful transitions.

I have spent five years working as director of an Eating Disorder center. Certifications: CT Education Department Program Facilitator; Military Support Program Certification; Certification in Family and Children; American Red Cross HIV Counselor/Educator. I bring this knowledge to working with my clients to accommodate their search for balance.
