About

You may be coping with a recent crisis or struggling with a longstanding sense of stuckness. You may have tried different resources but are still feeling lonely and frustrated. As a psychologist and psychoanalyst, I aim to help you connect your current struggles to the larger context of your life's story. I offer perspectives that allow clients to understand what may appear to be irrational or maladaptive behaviors or feelings. Creating new meaning out of past challenges is an important part of therapy. We will identify patterns that in the past

allowed you to survive difficult experiences but may be limiting life in the present. My clinical and personal experience has taught me that engaging in this process of self-examination takes courage but is immensely worthwhile. I aim to create a welcoming space for you to engage in this process.

Newly gained self-awareness and self-acceptance will allow you to discover your strengths and find new and creative solutions to old difficulties. It is my privilege to accompany you on this journey. I provide both short-term consultations and long-term psychotherapy, depending on clients' needs, desires, and resources.
