About

Hey! I’m Natalia, a Latina therapist who is passionate about working with BIPOC, immigrant, and first-generation clients who have experienced trauma and/or chronic illness and young adult caregivers. If the thought of starting therapy feels overwhelming and you feel stuck in survival mode, I can support you in finding the language, tools, and resources to help you understand your experience and feel empowered to move towards the changes you want to see in your life. As a bicultural therapist, my hope is to integrate and honor your culture, racial identity/identities, and heritage, in our work to make therapy feel more accessible.

With nearly a decade of experience working with immigrant and BIPOC clients who have experienced chronic illness, acculturative stress, and trauma, I specialize in culturally-attuned and trauma-informed therapy. Together, we’ll explore strategies that honor your lived experiences and that are tailored to you, so you can begin to move out of survival mode.

With me, you can expect sessions with me to feel like a casual conversation with therapeutic strategies like DBT, culturally adapted CBT, or ACT weaved in. Although I may challenge you to step out of your comfort zone at times, we will use humor, explore your strengths, and find ways to make therapy work for you so you can feel safe, validated, and seen.
