About

Hello. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 35 years of experience working with people experiencing so many issues with their mental health. I use a diverse approach to therapy since I am versed in many modalities of treatment. My approach to therapy uses Supportive Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing. I have worked with people experiencing depression and anxiety, loss, adoption and post-adoption, trauma, childhood abuse, relationships, parenting, work stress, issues of older adults, physical illness, etc., just to name a few.

I have been a social worker for a very long time. I have always worked with people one-on-one, who find themselves in moods, situations, work, childhood, life, etc. who seek to feel better about themselves in whatever ways that they can begin to understand, fix, or accept other aspects of their lives.

It is important to set some goals for how therapy can help clients. For example, if you are taking a trip, you need directions and things to see along the way as well as knowing when you get there. And so it is with therapy. Clients need to define what they need to be successful in their therapy.
