About

You’ve experienced some traumatic events in your life. Immediately afterwards, you might feel shock and denial. Longer term reactions might be unpredictable emotions, flashbacks, strained relationships and even physical symptoms like headaches or nausea. It can be hard to move on with life. I can help you find positive ways to manage your emotions. I am trained in trauma treatment and in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distresses that are the result of disturbing life experiences.

Currently, the anxiety, fear and grief we feel from the Coronavirus can turn serious, threatening your mental health. This is among the life traumas that can be helped with trauma, anxiety and depression treatments.

You might suffer from Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder, or Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors--trichotillomania (hair pulling) and excoriation (skin picking).I can help you with these issues as well. I also work with issues affecting LGBTQ clients. My 30 years of experience and training have given me an eclectic background. I offer some evening appointments.
