About

For more than 25 years, I have specialized in working with adults of all ages who find themselves stuck in their lives. My patients tend to be people who would like to know themselves better and discover self-defeating patterns they would like to change. Most of the people I see are facing some kind of relationship, family, or work conflict often caused by anxiety or depression. The most rewarding work for me is helping people who are motivated to change and face issues in their personality and behavioral patterns that get in the way of living life more fully.

I practice individual and couples psychotherapy with sessions at least once a week. I work closely with patients to develop an individualized plan to achieve short-term and long-term goals. I am also associated with a psychiatrist I collaborate with in cases where medication may be helpful.

I am often told by patients that my office provides a safe haven for exploring feelings and experiences that have never been previously expressed or understood. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
