My name is Nancy Clark and I am a Licenced Clinical Social Worker (LSCW-R) accepting new patients in New York State via telehealth. I have 14 years of outpatient counseling experience and I work with a variety of ages from adolescents to adults. I offer a gentle, non-judgemental approach to exploring symptoms, life challenges and barriers to mental health wellness. I enjoy working with a mix of various age groups. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults. I am comfortable treating panic and anxiety symptoms, depression, substance abuse, codependency, family conflict, survivors of childhood/adult trauma and domestic violence. I also have experience with people who identify as neurodivergent as well as people who are exploring their identity. I have been trained in various treatment strategies including but not limited to Strengths Based Counseling, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Trauma Focused Wellness practices.
