About

In your lifetime, you may have had some experiences that negatively impacted your mental health and well-being. Many of these experiences may have derived from adversities and even trauma in your childhood or adulthood; causing you to struggle in some areas of your life. It may seem that you are “stuck” in time psychologically or emotionally and, find it hard to have healthy relationships with others. If this is you, you are not alone; neither are you "flawed”. Your natural survival mechanisms helped you along the way. Therapy is tool that can help you get "unstuck" and heal through awareness, acceptance, alliance, and action.

Depending on your unique situation, I will utilize therapeutic approaches and techniques from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, narrative, mindfulness, acceptance, and trauma informed therapies to help you gain the insight needed to identify problems and triggers, examine impact, address blockages to healing, and explore resolutions.

Our deepest source of wisdom lives inside our stories. Each one of us has stories, and each story deserves to be spoken and heard with dignity and safety. I am here to listen and honor your life story with my utmost respect, full attention, non-judgmental support and compassion. Let me partner with you on your evolutionary journey and path to wellness.
