I provide treatment for individuals with mental health and disabilities. I intend to help each one of my clients discover what they want out of life and become the best version of themselves. Opening up to a stranger can be a challenge, I strive to promote equality in sessions and help individuals to advocate for themselves. I specialize in EMDR and am passionate about providing treatment to individuals with trauma histories. My goal is to assist clients by creating a safe space for processing what’s beneath the symptoms to begin self-regulation. I can assist with understanding how trauma impacts our everyday lives, explore connections, see how it helps survival, and understand how to manage it. I recognize the impact of chronic disabling conditions and the challenges with how to navigate ways to accommodate functionally in everyday life. I have an eclectic treatment approach as not every modality works for all. In addition to identifying individual strengths within, adapting to life transitions, utilizing outside resources, promoting self-awareness, coping skills, addressing maladaptive patterns, career exploration, and treatment planning.
