Therapy is a deeply personal and challenging process. As a therapist, I aim to create a space where individuals moving through difficult periods of their lives can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and learn new ways of relating to them. I strive to be a non-judgmental, compassionate, and empathetic partner in your healing journey. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ folks, individuals dealing with trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, chronic pain, and challenging life transitions. My therapeutic framework is rooted in anti-racism and cultural humility. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be. I have extensive training in trauma-focused interventions, as well as behavioral and mindfulness-based interventions such as ACT, DBT, and CBT. If my offerings sound like they would meet your needs, I would love to hear from you. As part of Peninsula Behavioral Health, a Stanford-affiliated psychotherapy center, I offer secure telehealth sessions for individuals based in California. You can visit www.penbh.com to schedule an intake and request me as your provider.
