My name is Monique Galindo Soderstrom, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I see children, adolescents, adults and families. For those who have never been in therapy, it can be a scary experience. My clients and coworkers tell me that I have a very warm and calming demeanor. I try to make the process of starting therapy as simple and stress free as possible. I welcome my clients with a safe, supportive and come as-you-are approach. Together we can work on parenting, reducing and/or eliminating worry, anxiety, depression and unhealthy habits you may be experiencing. I am trained in Maternal Mental Health, CBT, Gestalt, DBT and Inner Child work. I am able to help clients identify their stumbling blocks and strengths. I want my clients to gain courage, confidence and change in themselves. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I had the privilege and blessing to work with an exceptional therapist for my own relational issues and behaviors. After seeking mental health support for myself I decided I wanted to "pay it forward".
