About

If you are struggling with an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, substance abuse or trauma, please know that there is hope and healing for you. I enjoy walking along side people overcoming these disorders and being able to find out what true recovery means. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an important one and that a person must have a good relationship with their therapist while the therapist utilizes therapeutic treatments that work.

I have experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which is considered one of the best treatments for eating disorders, anxiety, substance abuse, depression and trauma. I have used cognitive processing therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have also used gestalt work and have experience in group therapy.

I believes in using holistic approaches to the treatment of mental disorders and practices in the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model. She feels comfortable in adding in spirituality and religion and has an added degree in religious studies.
