Mitchell William Nelsen

Big Lake, Minnesota 55309 United States

About

Mitch asserts that significant personal change is achievable for everyone, though the journey can be demanding. Much like water, we often seek the path of least resistance, particularly in the face of pain, hurt, disappointment, loneliness, or fear. Nonetheless, transformation is not meant to occur in isolation. By supporting one another, hope and strength can emerge through vulnerability, shared knowledge and a clear understanding of one's goals.

Mitch has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families over the last 10 years. His areas of focus include addiction (substance abuse, video games, and phone addiction), trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, problematic sexual behavior, and dysfunctional family dynamics. Mitch holds a certificate in EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Therapy.

Mitch’s personal faith is a pivotal part of his life and he encourages people who work with him to strive to be their authentic self, so that trust can build and change can occur. He enjoys working with people from all backgrounds, ethnicities and religions. Mitch is looking forward to meeting you and walking alongside you in this next chapter of your life.
