About

I help clients to move beyond beliefs of self-hate and doubt to feelings of self-love and celebration. My clients improve their self-compassion while healing past pain, leading to deeper connection with the people in their lives. We develop strategies to replace old coping mechanisms that are no longer helpful or never were. I believe we are all more than the worst things we have ever thought about ourselves.

Many frameworks inform my approach to treatment, including emotionally focused and psychodynamic theories. More important than academic vocabulary, though, is the importance of our working relationship.

One of the most telling predictors of successful therapy is how well you get along with your therapist. Simply put, are you willing to be vulnerable? Do you trust me enough to brainstorm how you might evaluate and improve negative patterns? We can explore that together.
