About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with ages 18 and older. I have a Bachelor’s in social work from University of Michigan-Flint and a master’s in social work from Arizona State University. I have experience working in several hospital settings. I have obtained experience with grief through the hospice setting.I have also worked in an inpatient and outpatient setting with mental health.I utilizes evidence- based therapies including Emotional Regulation Therapy (ERT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness. I use Strengths Perspective and I help clients work on addressing the emotional mind, while identifying any physical issues that are present and keeping in mind that grief comes in many forms. The hope is that, by using different tools in session, this will allow clients to address the many facets in life.
