As a queer, second-generation, Asian-American, I believe that kindness and compassion are my natural orientation and I position myself accordingly as a therapist. I believe that we're all inherently enough no matter what we’ve learned from our childhood, what society has told us we are capable of, or who we think we should be to have self-worth and fulfilling relationships. I believe we're all capable of unlearning and learning, and giving ourselves the grace to do so. My clients typically struggle with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relational conflict, intimacy and trust, and childhood and intergenerational trauma. My job is not to “fix” you or tell you what to do. Rather, my job is to help you find the resources and resiliency to relate to yourself and your relationships in new ways that feel nourishing and envision possibilities where you could not find them before. I use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches with an emphasis on emotions and self-compassion. I’m grateful you’re here and hope that we can collaborate together toward your goals and values in life. If my words have resonated with you, please reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
