About

Hello and welcome! I’m so happy you have taken this first step to improving your mental health and I would love to join you on your journey. My name is Michelle Salado and I am a LPC with 20 years of experience. I understand that considering counseling support can be an unnerving process, but one that can also be very rewarding. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who may be struggling with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and various life stressors, and I strive to create an environment that is inviting, trusting, and accepting where you will feel safe sharing your thoughts and feelings.

While I often use evidence-based counseling approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I understand the importance of modifying my approach based on your needs in order to best support your success and growth through various transitional, interpersonal, and emotional challenges.

So, together in a non-judgemental environment, we will look at the pressing mental health issues, develop meaningful goals, and create a personal plan of change that incorporates solutions which fit and will improve your overall quality of life. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
