About

You may be wondering if you would benefit from outside help navigating life’s challenges. Maybe you struggle to get through the day without getting stuck in a cycle of worry, snapping at your loved ones, or feeling weighed down by a sense of sadness. There may be a clear transition or challenge that you’re facing, like trouble growing your family or a new medical diagnosis. Or, perhaps you’re struggling with something more chronic like navigating the demands of being a working parent. Whatever the source of your stress, your experience is valid, and you deserve and have the capacity to feel better.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in science, integrating techniques from cognitive behavioral and other evidence-based therapies. Our sessions will be a nonjudgmental, collaborative space; we will develop a shared understanding of your struggles as well as how your intersecting identities, culture, and values affect how you move through the world.

Through therapy, you will learn to recognize unhelpful patterns so that you can choose more flexible and adaptive ways to respond to your inner experiences, other people, and the world around you. Together, we will set specific goals to help you develop new coping skills, achieve psychological growth, and lead a more enjoyable and meaningful life.
