My name is Michelle Gaede (she/they) and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I'm here to provide a safe space for you to navigate whatever challenges are coming up in your life. I work side by side with you to ensure you're heard, seen, and gain the tools you need to be successful. I have over 10 years of experience working with a variety of clients. I specialize in work with the LGBTQ+ community, as well as long-term trauma, parenting issues, and navigating general life stressors. My approach is eclectic because every person is unique and has different needs. I use a strengths-based, systems-oriented, trauma-focused approach in all my work. I utilize CBT, DBT, humanistic, Gestalt, and concepts of psychodynamics in my work, depending on the needs of my clients. I have experience working with a diverse population and all ages. I am comfortable treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, gender dysphoria, adjustment issues, and grief and loss. I have experience working with transgender and gender-diverse folks as well as anyone questioning identity and/or orientation.
