Hello and welcome to my Psychology Today page! My name is Michael Zachmann, and I am a psychotherapist who has experience working with adults, young adults, and teens, supporting them through change, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I like to take a strengths-based approach that focuses on an individual's innate power to change. I strive to create a judgment-free and comfortable environment for all my clients. I believe in the power of therapy to help people navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and develop coping strategies. I am committed to providing support and guidance to help individuals thrive. I often use the therapeutic modalities, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), but am always open to explore helping a client in other ways they think could be beneficial. Research indicates that the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client is a significant predictor of therapy outcomes. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to schedule a consultation, to see if we would be a good fit.
